We are officially and closely affiliated with one of the most renowned academic hospitals in Thailand and the region, the Chulalongkorn University Hospital in Bangkok. This institution was the third highest ranked medical faculty in the UK Times higher education listing in the region after National University Singapore and the University of Hong Kong. For clinical trials, our partner relies on an established network of 15 clinical sites in Thailand in addition to many more sites in Malaysia and several in Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. Approvals can usually be obtained within 2-3 months for single site studies at academic centers in our region, while approval for larger multi-center studies typically takes 3-4 months to obtain. The top five diseases subject to clinical trials in Southeast Asia are type 2 diabetes, breast cancer, lung cancer, HBV and HIV.
