Clinical Trial Experience
IATEC has an established history of providing top-quality services. Over the years we have built up expertise in a number of fields. We have extensive experience in Phase I, II, III and IV trials in areas as diverse as dermatology, oncology, endocrinology, urology, cardiovascular illnesses, CNS, virology and the respiratory-pulmonary system. Our team consists of highly trained professionals, all of whom are experts in their fields.

Currently, IATEC has conducted 80 full clinical trials & studies (from Phase I-IV, including observational and pre-clinical studies). In addition, IATEC has performed more than 100 other contracts within the realm of clinical trial services.

A few examples of successful IATEC trials are: 2NN, a study in which patients received either efavirenz or nevirapine once daily or nevirapine twice daily, or both NNRTIs together in addition to stavudine (d4T) plus lamivudine (3TC), and SIMBA, a study to evaluate the efficacy of postnatal prophylaxis with either 3TC or NVP in breastfed children to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV-1 through breastfeeding.
